Be the Victor of your Genes, Not the Victim!

My Story: Public Humiliation

4th Grade picture day. My dreaded turn is here. I sit quickly and erectly with my feet on the tape, hoping that my cooperation will make for a hasty turn with the least amount of gawking from the rest of the kids in line. The photographer positions me briskly and heads to the camera. Once he is behind the lens I prepare for the flash with the most genuine smile I can muster. The photographer makes a frustrated face and says to his assistant. She is too big. My smile fades as all the other kids giggle and start to whisper. The assistant makes me stand as she lowers the stool and the photographer adjusts his zoom. “Too big…?” I think to myself. Hot red washes over my cheeks and a baseball size lump forms in my throat.

After the individual picture humiliation is over it is time for the class photo. I stand in line and wait for the photographer to place me. He scans the class and grabs my forearm. “We will have to start with you. You are the biggest person in the class and we need this picture to be balanced.” His comment is followed by hysterics from my classmates. He pushes me towards the top row of the bleachers in the very center and proceeds to add my classmates around me. I wanted to die. I wanted to shrink into my skin and disappear forever. My face was hot and my arms and head buzzed. The rest of the day my classmates called me big fatty, ugly, huge, brontosaurus, and Wilt Chamberlain.

After school I told my mom with a swollen wet face about picture day. Instead of offering consolation or words of encouragement she simply said, “Nancy, God makes all different sizes of people. We are big, it’s in our genes. The sooner you accept that the sooner you will enjoy your life.”

Family History: The Harsh Reality

The truth is big bones, a wide set frame, and height are all in my genes. These things don’t necessarily equate fat but in my 4th grade mind I was the fattest most despicable person on earth all because I was taller and bigger than the other girls. Beyond that obesity is also in my genes. All of my great Aunts on my mom’s side suffered from severe obesity. My Aunt Twilla died at age 41 from an infection she contracted after an intense weight loss surgery. Her husband died after his gastric bypass herniated. My Aunt Trudy died at age 50 from cirrhosis of the liver caused by malnutrition after a gastric bypass surgery. My Aunt Marlene died at age 70 as a 350-pound diabetic. My Aunt Karla is living out her final days in a nursing home breaking the scales at a whopping 480 pounds and is no longer able to walk.

For a few years I bought into this genetic story. I was the victim of my genes. I finished my freshmen year of college at 196 lbs. That summer I decided I was going to choose something different for my life. My mom and I both teamed up to change this family pattern. She has since lost 70 lbs and I have lost 35. It was a long hard journey. We both gained and lost the weight several times. We had a lot of emotional healing and belief work to do. It took us time to find a rhythm and program that worked for us. I was blessed to watch my mother as her outside shell and personal self-esteem transformed and began to glow with the beauty I had always seen within her. We are now both committed and passionate about assisting others. We have been so empowered by our success we now live to empower others.

So what’s the deal…

The reality is it that there are a lot of great weight loss programs and systems out there. Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, South Beach diet, ViSalus, Isagenix, cr500 and many more. They all have a great program that does help people lose weight successfully. Some diets work better for some people and don’t for others. It truly comes down to the individual. The real fact of the matter is that every diet has two essential components. 1. A lifestyle change (eating healthier, eating less, exercising, drinking more water, cutting out pop etc.) and 2. A Fat burning/weightloss system ( shakes, prepared meals, calorie restriction, supplements etc.) They all work. They all change lives. But something is missing. Genetics.

There is more research being conducted right now about the influence of genes than at any other time in our history. Epigentics is the up and coming field of discovery. To learn more and understand epigentics and its influence go to http://www.nancyraeallen.com/epigenetics/

How is it that identical twins can have completely different body compositions? They have identical genes but the way those genes are being expressed is different. I’ve always thought how unfair it is that some women can eat whatever they want and still be as skinny as a bean pole while other women can diet and exercise a ton and still have love handles or thunder thighs. It just seems so unfair. The exciting thing is that they now have the science to address this issue at the GENETIC LEVEL!

Scientists have already been successful at resetting gene expression. The gene clusters that determine aging have been identified and successfully reversed to enable people to have a more youthful gene expression. A supplement developed by ageLOC science changes this and has been quantifiably proven to change the gene expression of an individual to be more youthful. This improves sexual libido, mental clarity, and energy; all things that decline rapidly when we age. Scientists have now discovered the gene clusters that map out the way we store fat. This is historic as you can imagine and is going to impact millions of lives. I am ecstatic about it! This will save lives. We truly have an obesity epidemic right now in the United States. This isn’t just about looking slimmer for vain reasons this is about health and quality of life. I want to share this with as many people as possible! The research is proprietary and owned by a partnership between LifeGen Technologies and ageLOC. The first ever genetic weight loss program is being developed right now. An exclusive prelaunch will be available next October 2013. The actual program will be launched January of 2014.

For more information about this genetic program or to find out how you can be a part of the prelaunch next fall go to http://www.nancyraeallen.com/. This is huge. Please share this information with the people you know who’s lives could be changed forever!

Fluff

I am here to impact lives in a big way. I know how hard it is to watch the ones you love suffer from obesity and health issues. More people died in the US from obesity last year than starvation. This is a serious problem. It is predicted that our children will not out live our life span! Encourage the ones you love to find a program that works for them and tell them about the up and coming genetic weight loss.

I am so grateful for my experiences and what they have enabled me to do. Thank you Smitten By for letting me share.

Blessings!

Nancy

One other thing to point out is that an online business administration program is designed for students to be able to efficiently proceed to bachelors degree education. The Ninety credit certification meets the lower bachelor education requirements and when you earn the associate of arts in BA online, you should have access to the most recent technologies on this field. Several reasons why students want to get their associate degree in business is because they are interested in this area and want to have the general training necessary ahead of jumping right into a bachelor education program. Many thanks for the tips you provide as part of your blog.

I feel sad for this girl. She was beautiful before she lost weight and looks healthy. She doesn't know obesity. I know morbid obesity and I lost 200lbs without dieting. You have to be able to do it the right way without pills, potions and plans to make it last. To read my story go to www.beckyloses200.blogspot.com.
